Alex Guarnaschelli

Guarnaschelli was the daughter of Maria Guarnaschelli. She was the daughter of John Guarnaschelli. Barnard College awarded her a master's degree in art history in the year 1991. She worked in the American Place restaurant for one year at the minimum wage , from 1991 until the year 1991. Guarnaschelli's first culinary experiences began while watching her mother experiment with various recipes at home , while she was editing books. Guarnaschelli was first trained by Larry Forgione, whose son Marc Forgione is Iron Chef Marc Forgione. She then was employed at various restaurants in France, New York, as well as Los Angeles including Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Also, she worked at Daniel Boulud's own restaurant, as well as Joachim Splichal's Patina before she became executive chef at Butter. After the restaurant's closure, she was the chef-in-chief of The Darby. Chair of the Museum for Food and Drink's Culinary Council. In 2013, Guarnaschelli's first book was released. "Old School Comfort Food The Way I Learned cook" contains autobiographical elements as well as her most loved recipes from work that she has adapted for her own home. Alex Alex Alex
