Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk as well as Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a writer, director and producer. Silk is the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending rehearsals for performances. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she met him in 2007 at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married in December 2009 in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on the 13th of May in 2016. Silk is a variety of TV roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast in the lead role as Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk fell pregnant during the production of the season three finale and announced this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was ready to return to the series. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple of the year 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's success has led to a large online audience through social media.
